Its principal, Darren Wong, is a planning and environment lawyer with over 20 years of legal and town planning experience. He is a highly regarded advocate appearing in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), and before Planning Panels Victoria and Advisory Committees. Darren also acts for clients in appeals from VCAT to the Supreme Court of Victoria and Court of Appeal.

He is particularly recognised for advising and advocating for local government. In 2015, Darren was recognised in Doyle’s Guide as an Australian Planning and Environment Rising Star, being one of just 10 such lawyers to be recognised nationally.

Darren was a senior lawyer in one of Australia’s best regarded planning law firms where he practised for almost 10 years, as well as a town planner at Moreland City Council, Whitehorse City Council and Yarra Ranges Shire Council, holding senior positions at Whitehorse and Moreland for 7 years.
